Now it seems all that hope has been shattered by some red tape. Since the release of Fallout 4, PlayStation 4 players have been excited at the prospect of mod support for Bethesda games. Bethesda seems to lay the blame squarely at the feet of Sony, saying that they would not “approve user mods the way they should work: where users can do anything they want for either Fallout 4 or Skyrim Special Edition”.
It’s been quite a while since Bethesda has made any statement regarding Fallout 4 and Skyrim mod support for the PlayStation 4, now after months of uncertainty they have finally given players some feedback.Īn update on the Bethesda site indicates that mod support for Skyrim and Fallout 4 would not be coming to the PlayStation 4 anymore.
